Ain't math grand?
What am I doing studying sloppy versions of some relatively uninteresting corners of it? I think if I knew just a bit more, I would return to the problems that concern me now and see through them like a kid learns to see through addition problems -- straight to the answer. Bam!
Is there anything in math that's genuinely impossible to learn step by step by step, each step obvious to anyone? I'd like to think not.
